In 1975, at 14 years old, Kitti Marshall was introduced to the world of cat showing.

After over 16 years of breeding American Shorthairs and Maine Coons, Kitti Marshall Ruttan had become a cat show judge herself, and in 1991 came across a rather new breed in The International Cat Association show circuit.

A curly haired cat that Jere Newman referred to as the Selkirk Rex.

Then in 1998, Kitti Ruttan acquired her very own Selkirk.

For 25 years since that day, Kitti has been breeding, showing, and aiding in the advancement of this amazing breed of cat.

By her side through many of those years, her daughter Sarah Ruttan has assisted her in the endeavor to raise beautiful, intriguing, and above all loving cats with all the care and affection that these silly babies deserve.

Kitti Kat Kattery breeds Selkirk Rex with standards in mind. Each litter carefully considered, raised with healthy diets, attention for their personal needs and their individual personalities to place them in the best homes for them.
